at van d ranch, we know it's important to help other small farms, stay apprised of on-goings in the agrigultural community, and stay involved.
We are active members of the Rocky Mountain Farmers Union which supports local agriculture and instills the importance of ag in today's youth and community. As members we participate by serving as board members, attending local events, and helping to spread the word about the importance of supporting our farmers. After all, without the farmers, where's the food?!
We're also enjoying an active role in our local beekeeping community, as bee farmers from southeastern and northeastern Colorado join forces to share, teach, and assist fellow bee enthusiasts about beekeeping and honey production.
We want our customers and our fellow farmers to understand that farming can no longer be a hobby for the American homestead. It must be a lifestyle. Our food demands better. Our future depends on it. And future generations must learn the ever-present and overwhelming truth behind our food, where it really comes from, and how to go back to the earth, to the basics to grow something pure. We're passionate about raising food of quality, and sharing the importance of sustainable agriculture with others.
